With its eighth festival this summer, the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival has become an important annual event in our community. In a recent video interview, Festival Producer Erica Fee discussed the origins of the festival, and how Rochester’s version is different from other fringe festivals. She also talked about the relevance of such festivals in furthering the work of artists, and in building a community’s sense of its own assets.
The interview was conducted as part of the RocGrowth Candids series. Rochester Beacon publisher Alex Zapesochny was the interviewer.
