Eat Up Roc: Downtown Restaurant Week returns

Eat Up Roc: Downtown Restaurant Week begins today.

The event is returning to the city after a three-year hiatus and features lunch and dinner specials, prix fixe menus, discounts, and special menu items at over 25 participating restaurants throughout downtown.

“We are thrilled to bring back Eat Up Roc and showcase the incredible culinary talent that is here today,” says Galin Brooks, president and CEO of Rochester Downtown Development Corp. “This event is a chance to get out, enjoy world-class cuisine, and reconnect with your neighbors and your city.”

Participating eateries include: Bar Bantam, Branca Midtown, Farmhouse Table Midtown Cafe, Frenchman Street, Gio’s Prime 26, La Bola, Lila’s, Locals Only, Ludwig’s Center Stage Café, Max Bar & Bistro of Eastman Place, Native Eatery and Bar, Pane Vino On The River, Red Zone Pizza, RoCoCo Café, Rooteins, Sapori Cafe & Catering, Seasons’ Noodle, Tapas 177, The Acorn Exchange, The Richmond, Unwine’d, Veneto, and Side Bar, which will have a special “Eat Up Roc Punch.” Restaurants Sagra Italia, Patron Saint, and Shell are newcomers to Eat Up Roc this year.

“Downtown is the place where everyone comes together – whether it’s at a shared table, a show, or to enjoy the culture, energy, and growth that downtown life offers,” says Brooks. “We are thrilled to bring back Eat Up Roc and showcase the incredible culinary talent that is here today.”

Eat Up Roc: Downtown Restaurant Week runs from  Feb. 27- March 8. All participating restaurants can be found online. Menus and deals are posted as they are received.
